The composition of organic shapes flows with drops of blood and stands in flames, surrounding the re-emerging pearl-flower. Everything that is past and wrong, the dirt and dust of the past, flows away in drops of black tar, burned by a pure, honest flame. Transformation requires the sacrifice of blood; old membranes must shed for the pearl to bloom. Red and fire symbolize profound change, an unstoppable element beyond control. Pink and beige reflect the subtlety and sensitivity of the blossoming pearl, which, despite its delicacy, towers with strength.

The painting was created based on a spontaneous, involuntary sketch that, I feel, emerged directly from my subconscious. "Flow through me" is an expression of courage, readiness for change, a challenge thrown to the future.
